Our two recent firings were both splendidly successful. The 36 hour June 2010 firing was a gloriously hot summer solstice event, and the very snowy  January 2011 40 hour firing, was an utterly stunning elemental contrast of fire and ice, darkness and light.

All the finished works are luminous and vibrant,  and each piece records the transcendent beauty of the fiery journey in uniquely beautiful ways.

I am especially delighted that photographer friend RicardO Hubbs was able to visit at dawn,  hour 36 of the 40 hour  January firing, and his photos really do capture the magic!

I am grateful to all my friends who have given their good energies and hard work to this terrific kiln.
