The form of the Jug as metaphor invites integration with archetypes of animated pouring vessels made throughout ceramic history, where bird forms are traditional symbols of the nurturing presence of the Divine Feminine.

My pitchers feel great in hand and are fun to use informally as well as  in ceremonies of imbibing, and they also serve as lovely vases in between feasts.
